Project Manager - Traffic:

What you will be doing:

• Manage projects within the Traffic group, establishing project budgets and schedules
• Supervise group of Engineers, including development and training of departmental staff, annual performance reviews and performance management
• Develop existing and new business opportunities
• Prepare proposals and presentations
• Attend client and/or public meetings and hearings as necessary
• Review and recommend contract changes
• Approve client invoices
• Conduct project meetings with staff on a regular basis

Capabilities of the ideal candidate include:

• BS in Civil Engineering
• 6-10 years progressively responsible experience managing transportation projects
• P.E. registration required
• Experience in project management and overseeing a team of traffic engineers is preferred
• Public meeting/hearing experience required
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Experience/interest in preparing land development traffic impact studies, public traffic planning studies, municipal traffic engineering, conceptual roadway design plans, and/or traffic engineering reviews
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
