This application uses the latest available technology to ensure data integrity and application efficiency. Customized specifically for Solebury Township and the needs of the staff, Solebury’s iGIS application is completely flexible and expandable for future modifications, while ensuring an extremely user-friendly experience.

Signal Asset Management System - Upgrade

Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties, Pennsylvania

McMahon upgraded and greatly enhanced a legacy VB6 application, which was designed as a Signal Asset Management System (SAMS) and developed for PennDOT District 6-0, to the .NET platform. The primary goal of the system is for electronic inventory, maintenance, management and storage of each asset's associated documents, pictures, permits, plans and CAD files. The reporting functions of the application are essential to daily activities, giving the user the ability to sort and filter on any aspect of the system. PocketSAMS is used for inspection and data collection associated with each signal. This streamlines the data entry process, ensures all data is collected through validation, and allows for reports and letters to be generated with the click of a button. Our success on these products led to other opportunities to assist the entire state with a refined traffic signal asset management program.
